Lessons From the Darkness: Leaning into Nature, Easing into Light, a Winter Solstice Teaching and Guided Meditation @ Raleigh City Farm

As the leaves finish falling, we are reminded as humans to also shed what is no longer needed from the season past to prepare for new growth. This guided winter solstice practice uses mythological teachings and a meditation inspired by C.G. Jung’s teachings on alchemy to help us align with nature and nurture our own inner growth and transformation.

We will begin with a teaching from the Aztec tradition that assists us in accessing our own darkness. Then, we will move through a powerful guided meditation that allows us to reconnect darkness and prepare to orient to the light. Potent insights are often gained from this practice, so please bring a notebook and pen!

This offering is led by Rosalie Bouck, a PhD Mythologist and Depth Psychologist who specializes in and lectures nationally on Aztec Mythologies of the Feminine. See more about her work at rosaliebouck.com
